  • Dimitri

    Founder of Axiom HSC Tutoring with over 10 years of experience in tutoring for all levels of HSC Maths. Dimitri began his studies with a Bachelor of Health Science at UTS but moved on to UNSW in 2020 where he then graduated with a BSc Mathematics.

    By mastering fundamentals and focusing on effective learning strategies, Dimitri helps his students build confidence, become critical thinkers, and achieve academic success through mastery of course content.

  • Stephanie

    Stephanie is a passionate and caring tutor with one year of tutoring experience. Currently in her second year of her BSc Secondary Education majoring in English and History, she understands that students are all unique and you can see this in her ability to teach the same concept to different students in the best way they are able to understand.

    Stephanie’s approach to teaching has led to many happy parents and inspired students who ultimately enjoying the process of learning English skills.

    Stefano initially studied a BSc Applied Physics at UTS for a few years before deciding to complete his degree in a BSc in Psychology at Macquarie University. He is currently undergoing his Masters in Education.

    Stefano has been tutoring for 4 years now in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. His passion for knowledge, ability for critical thinking and friendly nature makes it so students are never hesitant to ask questions which we believe is the key in seeing his students succeed.

  • Our tutors are passionate and highly qualified, many of whom achieved top HSC marks and are currently studying or have graduated with degrees relevant to the subjects they teach. They are carefully selected for their ability to communicate complex ideas in an accessible way and their ability to adapt to the learning style of your child.

  • The number of tutoring sessions that we recommend depends on several factors, including the students' year level, the subject area they need help with, their current performance, study habits, goals, as well as exams and assessments coming up. You can get a rough idea with our evaluation quiz and we would be happy to discuss in more detail over a call.

    If the goal is gradual improvement, we recommend 1-2 times a week. For significant catch-up or exam prep, more frequent sessions (3 or more times per week) will be necessary in the short term. 

    We are flexible and find that a good approach is to start with 1-2 sessions a week and we adjust that based on the students progress and feedback from the tutor.

  • All tutoring sessions are conducted online, allowing students to enjoy the benefits of learning from the comfort of their own study spaces.

  • Tutoring sessions are customised to the NESA syllabus, focusing on where students need the most support. Tutors also provide exam strategies, practice papers, and time management techniques to maximise performance during HSC exams.

  • For online sessions, we use secure, child-friendly platforms to ensure a safe learning environment. All tutors are required to obtain a valid WWCC before they commence tutoring.

  • Tutoring sessions last for one hour. If you require more than this then please contact us directly so we can organise a plan that meets your needs.
